Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba Joshua began his training at age 8 with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Recreational Division. In 2018 he was accepted into the RWB Professional Division, and graduated in 2022. During his training, Joshua was awarded the David Peregrine Memorial Scholarship, the RWB Alumni Scholarship, and the Victor Duret Memorial Fund. He furthered his training for one year in the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant program, and performed in the RWB’s Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet. He also performed the roles of Espada and Gamache in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s 2024 presentation of On the Edge. Joshua is excited to begin his first season with Ballet Victoria.
