Born in Winnipeg, Elisha graduated from Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division and was the recipient of many scholarships, including the inaugural Arlene Minkhorst Scholarship. She then completed her training in the RWB’s Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program. During the summers, Elisha supplemented her training with intensives at Orlando Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive with an invitation to attend the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. With the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Elisha has performed roles in Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Wizard of Oz and Romeo and Juliet, and has had the opportunity to work with guest repétiteur Anna Marie Holmes, and guest choreographers Meredith Rainey, Lesley Telford, Jera Wolfe and Yosuke Mino. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys cooking, baking, crocheting and café-hopping! Elisha is looking forward to her first season with Ballet Victoria.
