Niamh Perrins - Dancer
Born in Nova Scotia, Niamh Perrins began her dance training at Tao Dance Inc. under the guidance of Mikaela Vidmar-Perrins. At the age of thirteen, Niamh was invited to join the Joffrey Ballet School Jazz Trainee Program in New York City, as the youngest dancer to be accepted into the program. During her year with Joffrey, Niamh starred in the Awesomeness TV series, “Joffrey Elite.” Eager to delve deeper into ballet, Niamh relocated to Los Angeles to join the prestigious Colburn Dance Academy, where she trained under the esteemed directorship of Jenifer Ringer and James Fayette. Her development was further enriched by the mentorship of renowned instructors including Zippora Karz, Seth Belliston, and Silas Farley.In 2021, Niamh became a member of Ballet Tucson. Over her three years with the company, she performed in numerous ballets and contemporary works. Her repertoire includes both corps de ballet and soloist roles in “No Holds Barre” by Kiyon Ross, Paquita, Nutcracker, Serenade, Divertimento No. 15, Allegro Brillante, and Sum Stravinsky by Kiyon Ross. Niamh Perrins is now thrilled to be joining Ballet Victoria for the 2024-2025 season!
