Victor Frankenstein, a Swiss student of Natural Science, defies natural boundaries and pieces together an artificial man using parts scavenged from graves. The final touch – a heart – eludes him. Exhausted by her husband’s work obsession, Mrs. Frankenstein begs the doctor for entertainment. The cunning scientist urges her and her friend to partake in a social dance. 

Mrs. Frankenstein now distracted; Victor sends too the grave to procure the heart of a Corpse Bride. He and his assistants quickly exhume the heart and flee from the vengeful Wilis who haunt the graveyard.

Incidentally, Mrs. Frankenstein discovers the monstrous creation and immediately demands its destruction. In an epic chase between scientist and creation, the creature escapes to the forest. 

There, amid the shadows, the creature senses the Corpse Bride, and their fates entwine. The Wilis, driven by vengeance, protect the creature and confront Dr. Frankenstein, ultimately casting him to his demise.
