Beauty and The Beast

A new ballet that is both visually entrancing and emotionally rewarding, whilst re-telling a familiar tale in a fresh and innovative way. Destrooper creates a domain where magic is as tangible as in a child’s dream. A spell, a declaration of love, a beautiful rose and exquisite gargoyles — all the ingredients for a family dance delight.

Carmen and other works

Fiery and passionate, Destrooper’s Carmen recounts the tragedy of an untamed gypsy and her lover, Don José. Enticed by Carmen’s charms, Don José abandons both fiancée and military career for the elusive Carmen. With athleticism and grace, the dancers of Ballet Victoria portray the spectrum of intense emotions that drive this famous story.
