A native of Wisconsin, Nancy Angermeyer received a Bachelor of Science in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Nancy taught elementary art in Spring Green, Wisconsin and adult art classes at the Evanston Art Center in Chicago, Illinois. She worked in advertising on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and studied photography while working on her MFA in painting at the University of Kentucky.
As a painter she used photography as a tool. Over the past ten years Nancy has used photography exclusively as the method to conceive her images. Her silver gelatin prints are composed of several black and white negatives layered in the darkroom and then hand painted in oil.
When Jason isn’t working in the theatre, it’s a good bet you’ll find him behind a camera somewhere. Current projects include a short film and several reality TV projects including camera operator for the Victoria-based “Hero Search” and running around onstage with a camera at the BC150 concert. Involved in theatre for as long as he can remember, Jason has stage managed countless shows for many local companies and is happy to be working with such a talented team at Ballet Victoria.
